For the curious ones

Born on April 18th 1987, Sydney White grew up in a family of two brothers an american mother and a russian father.

 

Her concert debuts in 1999 in a choir. Shortly after she started as a solo R’n’B singer and sang for the following 3 years on most of Geneva Switzerland stages.

 

During that time, she was asked to compose a song for the Swiss campaign "Respect changes lives" and make a duet with 94 Commando (Hiphop) which was diffused on european radios.

 

In 2008 she moved to San Francisco. « I felt the need to discover the unknown and find out what is my american influence in my life. » She lived happily the first year teaching and performing in bars and open mic nights until the economic crisis worse.

In 2009, she street performed for food and shelter for over 3 months. “It was one of most enlightened part of my life. I learned sharing and caring with others without ego or any expectations just focusing on the basic human needs for surviving.”

 

Once settled in her hometown Geneva Switzerland, she created a first album called “Survival”, composing and harmonizing her San Francisco discoveries.

 

Not long after that, people hired her for the stories her music engaged in, on most music stages hotels and concert halls of Geneva. "After the storm, the sun always rises".


In 2012 she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and toke time off in order to enjoy fully being a mother.


In 2015 her family moved to Valais Switzerland and started a new chapter of her life there in nature.

 

She grew a new audience, music stages, hotels and over 30 partners and sponsors followed and promoted her.

 

In 2017 she left with her family on a camping car road trip all around the United States and came back in 2018 to give birth to her second daughter.

Now living Valais-Switzerland, in seek of the mountain inspiration in order to create a second album.


The beauty of Sydney White is in the depth her voice and the intensity of her lyrics. It is instantly personal, she is able to touch everyone in their inner cor through joy and pain.
